My Recent Brew
I just emailed the company asking if I can use one of their pictures to show my readers what a Needham looks like, and they were kind enough to allow me to use it. So, let me tell you about this really sweet confection I tried. The history can be found on the website but to summarize it the candy started in the late 19th century as a coconut/potato mash coated in dark chocolate. They have since expanded varieties, and I was lucky enough to try their maple. I love maple, it's such a natural and amazing flavor. I was shocked when I bit into it and discovered some coconut texture as well. I shared it with my partner and he equally enjoyed the confectionery goodness. So, I immediately went to their website to purchase more and ended up finding out they have blueberry, espresso, traditional (with potato), and maple flavors. I bought some of each.
I think these are going to pair super well with some of my teas, but it's just too hot for me to want to make a lot of hot teas. However, come fall and cooler temps, these may debut with my friends when I do a tea party. Even if I selfishly hoard them like Smeagle and his precious, I'm going to enjoy the heck out of them.
